- Vintage Hand-Embellished Velvet Lamé Kaftan, attributed to Bill Gibb
- Circa Fall 1976 'Byzantine' Collection
- Black opulent silky velvet gown with attached interior slip dress.
- Bohemian gold-tone lamé trim detailing
- Adorned with iridescent encrusted stones surrounded by a delicate chain-link embroidery.
- Entirely embellished by hand at the neckline and sleeves.

- Please note this piece is missing the designer label and is attributed to Bill Gibb. A bespoke piece intended for Gibb's longtime friend and publicist, Kate Franklin, who heavily contributed to the designer's extraordinary presence among London's trailblazing 1970s.
