What is ReSee?

ReSee is the premier online destination to shop exclusive and authentic Vintage and second-hand fashion and luxury handbags. Every piece on ReSee is personally curated by our Editors, fully Authenticated by our Experts and restored when necessary by Artisans.

Our mission is to bring you special pieces that you will not find elsewhere — pieces that have a unique story and make you feel great, while contributing positively to the environment.

How Does ReSee Work?

ReSee is a luxury consignment shop that sources from the closet's of world's most inimitable tastemakers. Each piece on ReSee is pre-loved and unique. All the pieces pass through our hands and are stocked by ReSee, ensuring that once you place your order, you will receive your item within a time frame of 5-7 working days. All pieces are professionally dry cleaned and repaired when necessary to ensure that you receive your piece in its best possible condition. 

Custom Duties and Fees

All orders are shippied Delivery Duties Paid. The prices displayed on the website include all taxes and duties. To view prices with your region's correct duty rates, make sure to enter your shipping region on our website.

What is the authentification process?

Upon reception of the item, our quality control team will conduct a thorough inspection to determine condition status. Following condition, a professional authenticator reviews product attributes such as material, tags, prints, stamps, and seams to ensure all correlates with the given luxury brand standards.

Does ReSee ship worldwide?

ReSee ships worldwide except for Russia, Brazil and a few number of selected countries. All the available countries will be shown at check out. If you don't find your delivery country on our dropdown list, please contact our customer care. All prices are shown with Delivery Duties included into the price. 

Shipping Costs

ReSee works exclusively with DHL. All delivery costs are defined by DHL, depending on your delivery zone and the size of your package.

Where can I view the status of my order?

Once your order has been placed, please consult your personal ReSee account to track its progress. You will receive a shipping number by email to track your order status once dispatched.

Can I cancel my order?

Cancellation is acceptable within 24 hours unless the order has been shipped already. Kindly note that there will be a cancellation fee.

Can I place an order by telephone?

We would kindly ask you to place an order directly online or write us on our contact page if you have any questions.

Can I place an order at the showroom?

Yes of course, simply make a showroom appointment online through "book an appointment" and send us your selection 5 days in advance.

What are the delivery times?

All orders will be shipped out within 3-5 business days by DHL express. Depending on your location, arrival times may vary.

What are the delivery restrictions?

ReSee ships worldwide. Given strict customs regulations, we currently do not ship to Russia, Brazil and selected countries.

Can I choose the delivery day and time?

As soon as your order is validated, you will receive a notification from our carrier by text and/or email informing you of the delivery time. You may easily reschedule by following the link sent in the notification message.

Will my ReSee order be insured?

We highly recommend to insure orders over 4000€ by paying an additional fee, For more information , email us.

Why have some products disappeared from my cart?

Every item on ReSee is a unique piece. If an item is no longer available in your cart it is because it has been purchased by another customer. 

How can I apply a promo code?

Enter your promo code directly upon check out.

How can I track my order?

A DHL notification will be sent to you with a tracking number. Simply enter your tracking number directly on dhl.com

What are the available payment options?

ReSee offers the following payment methods :

- Credit / Debit Cards (American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Discover)

- Bank Transfer

-Bancontact (payments for Belgium) 

- Multi-payment options are available depending on your region

Information on VAT and Invoices

The prices displayed on the website are including all taxes. VAT and customs duties may vary depending on the delivery country. You can easily dowload your invoice by selecting the button "download my e-ticket " at checkout.

Secure Payment

ReSee uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt and protect the data you send us over the internet.

If your card issues is based within Europe, you may be asked to verify your payment. If this is the case, you will be directed to a dedicated page to enter further information or asked to authorize the payment using your mobile phone. Once completed, you’ll return to ReSee's website. 

When will the amount be debited from my credit card?

Different credit card providers have varying policies, therefore please consult directly with your credit card company.

Does ReSee accept multiple payments ?

You may deliver multiple payments with our partner Klarna. This solution is avalaible for the following regions: Germany, Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain. If you have any further questions, please contact us directly.

Where can I find the size of an item?

ReSee provides specific size measurements on each product page under "Size & fit." Feel free to consult our included sizing chart and recommended fit.

Can I try on a product?

To try on a product, simply make a showroom appointment directly on our website, link "book an appointment".

What is the return policy?

ReSee accepts returns for most clothing and shoe items except for a few rare and fragile items. All bags, non-shoe accessories, jewelry, objects are Final Sale. Each product has its own return policy, therefore please review the return policy on each product page or on your checkout recap. We work to limit returns 

Return shipping and transaction fees will be deducted. 

If you do not wish to keep a Final Sale item, please note that you can re-sell it back on ReSee. 

What is the refund policy?

Upon reception of your return and confirmation of its original conditon, your refund will be processed within 15 business days.

Can the refund be done on another card than the one used for the order?

Unfortunately refunds can only be done through the original payment method.

Where can I see the status of my returned order?

You could easily follow your shipment advancement with the tracking number provided by ReSee on DHL.com

Can I choose the carrier for my return?

Yes, you may choose your own carrier, however kindly note that ReSee will not be responsible for anything lost during transit. If you choose your own carrier, you will also be reliable for any duties and taxes.

Can I return different orders in the same package?

Yes, only if they are within the returning period.

I want to resell an article on ReSee, what should I do?

Simply send us a request via our contact page, and our customer service representative will contact you shortly.

How do I sell a product on ReSee?

Selling with ReSee is very easy, and we make the process as seamless as possible. Submit your items via the Sell With Us contact form and we will get back to you soon with a price proposal. Once approved, the pieces will be shipped to our office where they are reviewed by our experts.

How do I make a seller appointment with ReSee?

You may book an appointment directly through our online website calendar, at "book an appointment" . You can also contact us to either book an in-person appointment, drop-off your items at our showroom, set up a phone call, or simply submit pieces via email or WhatsApp.
 

What is the selling procedure?

Once your pieces are priced and approved, we take care of everything. After your pieces have arrived to our office our team of experts will examine, photograph, place online, store in our collector archive & ship when sold.

Which products can I sell on ReSee?

We sell luxury ready-to-wear, couture, handbags, accessories, fine jewelry and home objects.

Which brands can I sell on ReSee?

ReSee is known for its unique curation, so please consult our accepted list of designers.

What is ReSee's commission rate?

ReSee offers full 60% commission of the price excluding taxes for ready-to-wear, accessories & vintage objects. When it comes to handbags and fine jewelry, we are highly competitive to sell your pieces, therefore contact us for a consultation.

How much will I receive once my products sells?

You will receive the full commission amount minus any applicable dry-cleaning or repair fees.

Can I cancel my item(s) listed on ReSee?

You are at liberty to cancel your products at any given moment. Do note that once online, if the piece has been listed for less then a year, there is a €20,00 catalogue fee charged per item and shipping back your pieces are at your own cost. Contact us to know more.

Does my product get authenticated before getting put online?

Yes, each piece is subject to quality control and authentication by our experts upon arrival at our headquarters. 

What information should I provide for my article?

When submitting your items or contacting us, additional information concerning your pieces is greatly appreciated. For example the season, runway, material or anything special about the piece.

Is it necessary to provide a proof of authenticity or invoice of my product?

It is not mandatory to provide proof of authenticity or an invoice for your item(s). All products will be reviewed by our authenticity team upon reception. However all authenticity documents you could provide (invoice, certificate, CITES,...) will be very useful. You may be contacted if we have any questions.

How will I be paid when my article sells?

The payment of your seller commission will be made directly in your ReSee wallet.

How quickly will I receive my payment?

When your sale is fully validated (after the buyer legal withdrawal period) the payment of your seller commission will appeared directly in your ReSee wallet.

My product was declined, why?

ReSee operates with a specific curation. If your piece was declined, it means it does not fit in our current curation.

From which countries do you accept consignments?

ReSee accepts consignments globally. Please feel free to contact us.

How do I ship my product to ReSee?

We ship worldwide with DHL Express. ReSee currently offers at-home pickup services all year round in Paris, London, Milan, Monaco, Zurich and Geneva. This service is available twice a year in New York and Los Angeles. Our team is onhand to make shipping as easy as possible, simply contact us.
 

Can I send my article(s) by messenger?

Yes, we offer messenger services for a fee of 15-40 euros within Paris and London.

Can I drop off my article(s) at the showroom?

You could drop off your items at our Paris showroom. Please select the "drop off " option in your seller dashboard's proposal.

How long does it take for my product(s) to be online?

Our current processing time is within one month.

How do I create an account on ReSee?

To create a ReSee account go to "my account" on the top right of the homepage and simply add the personal information requested.

How do I log into my account?

To log into your account just click on "my account" on the top right of the homepage and input the requested information. If you have any problem with your account please contact our customer care team.

I forgot my password, what should I do?

Simply click on 'Forgot your password' on the log in page.

How do I change my personal information?

You may change your personal information by signing into your ReSee account, then my information.

How do I subscribe to the ReSee newsletter?

To subscribe to our newsletter, simply create a ReSee account.

I can't log in, what should I do?

If you have forgotten your password, simply reset your password directly on your customer's account by clicking 'reset my password'. If you are still having trouble logging in, please do not hesitate to contact us.

What is the privacy policy regarding my personal data?

ReSee ensures the security of the personal data it retains for the sole purposes of fulfilling and monitoring orders.
Any user and/or purchaser may consult the “Privacy Policy” at any time, accessible in the “Privacy Policy” section, which fully details the methods of processing personal data.

Founded in Paris in 2013, ReSee is the brainchild of two fashion veterans, Sofia Bernardin and Sabrina Marshall, from VOGUE and Self Service Magazines. Obsessed with iconic vintage, Sabrina and Sofia founded ReSee with the vision of keeping great fashion in circulation.
