Postcard From Miami by Esteban Cortàzar

Esteban’s South Beach
Esteban Cortázar, the youngest designer ever to show at NYFW, spent his childhood in the '90s surrounded by models and designers from Miami’s dynamic scene. Continually inspired by the city's vibrant aesthetic for his eponymous label, Esteban shares his favorite spots to stay, eat, and shop.

Joe's Stone Crab
Mon dernier repas sur Terre (rires) et première chose que je fais lorsque j’arrive!

News Café
This is where I grew up. Unfortunately, it is now closed. It was the first café in Miami to sell magazines from around the world, and I spent a lot of time there flipping through fashion magazines.

Love me Two Times
It was the best vintage store in South Beach, often visited by Helena Christensen, Kate Moss, Madonna, and more. I used to do the window displays every Sunday when I was about 12 years old, and that’s where I got my first job in fashion.
Base
One of my favorite concept stores since the '90s.

Flamingo Plaza Vintage Shops
A secondhand shopping mall in Hialeah that still exists. I used to go there all the time with friends—we’d take the bus to hunt for treasures and save money.
Fly Boutique
A classic vintage store that’s still around. One of the first and home to some of Miami’s best vintage finds.

Mandoline
One of my favorite restaurants in Miami today, serving the best Greek cuisine.

3rd Street Beach
To this day, my favorite local beach spot.
Las Olas Café
One of the best local spots for authentic Cuban cuisine.

The Standard Hotel
One of my favorite hotels in Miami. It still has that '90s charm that makes me feel the authentic Miami vibe.

Design District
It’s amazing to see how much it has developed and how beautiful it has become. My high school, DASH (Design and Architecture Senior High School), has been right in the middle of it for many years.
Lincoln Road Flea Market
Still one of the best flea markets of all time.

Todd Oldham Store
One of my all-time favorite stores. Todd became a mentor to me from the moment I welcomed him to the neighborhood when he opened his store.
Faena Bazaar
They have a great selection of both established and emerging brands.
At ReSee, every one of our vintage pieces comes with a story. This is, in large part, thanks to our unmatched community of consignors.
Though parting with such sartorial treasures may not be easy, the exceptional personal care we put into ensuring that they will go on to live a second (or, sometimes even, a third, fourth, or fifth) life offers a thrill — one rivaled only by that of the besotted shopper who adds them to her wardrobe.
