Designer Picks: Lauren Rubinski
The French Jewelry Designer shares how she mixes jewelry on the daily and the special pieces she took years to hunt down.

What are your go-to fine jewelry pieces for everyday?
Every day I wear a different mix of jewelry pieces but currently there is one bracelet I never take off. It's inscribed ‘nobody gives you power you must take it’ which really is my mood of the moment. I’ll also stack multiple chainlink necklaces of the same style but in different lengths and finishes; one is brushed gold, another brilliantly polished, and I’ll add a pendant to each. Lastly, I always wear a diamond ring on my right hand, but when it comes to the left, I change it every day! Usually I'll do a statement ring or custom piece engraved with my name.
What’s your most treasured vintage jewelry piece?
Some of my favorite pieces took years to hunt down: a Gold Caesar compression pendant, or a terracotta medal by Pablo Picasso. There is also a pair of long gold pendant earrings by Ilias Lalaounis that I love to madness. They were originally commissioned by Aristotle Onassis for Jackie O to commemorate the moon landing of 1969.
"I love mono earrings and often wear them myself, I find them very chic; I even sell earrings separately in my own collections.
I adore the mixed metals of the gold earring and silver coin, it reminds me both of the old French Fishermen and Bulgari."
