Designer Picks: Sophie Keegan
The Jewelry Designer of her eponymous brand shares the personal creation dearest to her heart, as well as the special vintage pieces in her collection.

What’s your go-to fine jewelry piece for everyday?
I have three gorgeous boys - Two have just flown the nest - and I decided to design myself a bracelet in 18ct white gold which feels more understated for such a statement piece. It’s a mesh cuff with all their names intertwined in diamonds. It was challenging to produce as it had to be fitted a few times to my wrist to get it to sit just right. I never take it off - I always feel connected to them wherever I am.
What’s your most treasured vintage jewelry piece?
I adore vintage jewelry and have some special pieces including a Bulgari Monetti choker and some Elsa Peretti gold organic heart clip ons. My mother also recently gave me a beautiful Kenneth Jay Lane set from the late 1970’s: a bracelet and matching earrings in textured gold vermeil with a matt finish. I have such a clear image of my mother wearing them often and looking so glamorous. Even though they are not solid gold, the value lies in the sentiment for me.
